ADR or Alternative Dispute Resolution is a fast growing legal field that includes arbitration, mediation, and other alternative means of resolving disputes and conflicts outside the courtroom. It is usually faster, less costly, and not as formal as traditional dispute resolution mechanisms. It encourages creative and practical solutions and is usually less confrontational or adversarial.
