Jack was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He attended North Carolina State University, studying Political Science and History. Jack interned for Congressman Ted Budd and worked for the North Carolina Republican Party. Jack attended the Wake Forest University School of Law, receiving the Dean Suzanne Reynolds Award for the highest grade earned in Appellate Advocacy, serving as a Teaching Assistant for Appellate Advocacy and Professional Development courses, and completing a Practicum Extension with the Winston-Salem Legal Aid Office. Jack also gained experience in Wake Forest's Litigation Clinic, where he was able to prosecute misdemeanor cases under the supervision of the Forsyth County District Attorney's Office in accordance with the third-year practice rule.
